Aotea Utanganui Museum of South Taranaki

We are a purpose-built museum that embodies the spirit and energy of the South Taranaki region. Our taonga include the Waitore Artifacts: some of the oldest wooden artifacts in NZ, the Hāwera Star newspaper archive and photographic collections.

The Collaboration

Exhibition: Home. A mixed media exhibition featuring 12 local artists who call Taranaki Home.

The Collaboration is a dynamic popup exhibition and retail space. Hosting events every 6 weeks for 12 exhibiting artists and 40+ small local and NZ businesses.  From crafts to clothing, wellbeing products and art, our talented group have created a unique shopping experience for everyone.

Fenton Street Arts Collective

Fenton Street Arts Collective established in 2018 in the century old, Heritage listed Egmont Chambers building has become the hub for lovers of quality Art, Coffee and Gin. Wander through the art spaces, pop your head into the distillery, taste from our menu surrounded by national and local art.

New Zealand’s largest private collection of Holden cars and memorabilia, also features a Bathurst-themed mini-putt golf course, luge, and café.

Kina NZ Design + Artspace
